Established In: 1983

Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT)

Established In: 1983

MIT has changed the view of people towards the engineering courses by its research and innovation facilities. This is one of the first engineering colleges in Maharashtra in the private sector. MIT acts under the trust called the Maharashtra Academy of Engineering & Educational Research (MAEER) which also operates MITCEO College in the same campus as that of the main MIT.

MIT is the only college which offers courses like Petroleum Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering and Polymer Engineering in Maharashtra.

Cummins College of Engineering for Women

Established In: 1996

The establishment of Cummins College was made to empower women in India it originated in the year 1896 under the trust named Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha. This is the only women’s engineering college available in Pune and it strives to create highly educated women professionals.
